Cattail Dog Park

Cattail Dog Park is a very popular dog park that has many canine visitors throughout the day.   There is a Large Dog Park and a separate Small Dog Park.  The Large Dog Park (over 25 lbs) is closer to the parking area.  It has a security entrance before entering the main dog area.  Inside is a covered Pavilion, some benches, a water play station and a obstacle tube.   This dog park lacks shade and trees.

The entrance to the Cattail Small Dog Park (under 25 lbs.) is a short walk across the grass between the playground and the Cattail Large Dog Park.   It has a smaller covered Pavilion, some benches, a water play station and trash receptacles and waster bag dispensers.  Both dog parks have grass and dirt areas.

Bring a water dish to the park unless your dog can drink from a water hose.

There is a nice paved trail that circles around the Cattail park that you can walk your dog.  Enjoy the natural walk with signs describing the natural surroundings.  Watch for some great birds too.

Cattail Park has the following amenities:  Lighted Tennis Courts  *  Soccer Field  *  Baseball Field  *  Playground & Swings  *  Pavilion with Picnic Tables  *  Barbeque Pits  *  Paved Jogging/Walking Track  *  Basketball Courts  *  Water Fountains
