GROGAN’S MILL DOG PARK (at Tamarac Park)
This is a nicely shaded dog park. There is limited parking (30) and you do have to walk into the park to find the enclosed dog park but it is well worth the little extra effort to enjoy this woodsy park. The park is for small or large dogs and has two entrances – one off either side of the walking trail. Be sure to secure the gate locks when you come into the secured area.
After you park – walk down the sidewalk to the right of the Tennis Courts and you will see a sign directing you to the Dog park. Inside the Dog park you will find benches, doggy poop bag dispensers and waste cans. The base of the park is made with wood chips and pine straw.
Take your dog for a nice stroll around this beautiful 10 acre park on the .868 paved trail. Be sure to visit all the other amenities and stop to enjoy a nice picnic lunch at one of the 13 picnic tables. You will certainly enjoy the pond with a beautiful water fountain and lots of wildlife floating around. Stop to do a little Catch and Release Fishing too. Dog Owner / Handlers are responsible for the actions and behavior of their dog(s) at all times.
For the safety of children and dogs, please do not bring children under the age of 9 into the dog park. Some dogs exhibit unpredicatable behavior around small children.

Directions: 1300 North Millbend Drive, The Woodlands. West of IH 45 on Woodlands Parkway. Turn south onto Six Pines Drive. Turn East on N. Millbend Drive. Grogan’s Mill Dog Park at Tamarac Park is on the left.
